  • HydroPro Plus Circulator
  • Control Freak Induction Cooktop

Ingredients:

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil
  • 250g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Sous Vide Steak:

  1. Season and Seal: Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper. Use the Oliso Pro VS95A Vacuum Sealer to seal the steaks in vacuum bags.
  2. Sous Vide Cooking: Fill your container with water and set up the HydroPro Plus Circulator. Set the temperature to 56°C (132.8°F) for a medium-rare finish. Submerge the vacuum-sealed steaks in the water bath and cook for 2 hours.
  3. Rest: Once done, remove the steaks from the bags and let them rest while you prepare the mushrooms.

Garlic Butter Mushrooms:

  1. Preparation: On the Control Freak Induction Cooktop, set a skillet to a medium-high temperature setting.
  2. Cook Mushrooms: Add a dash of olive oil to the skillet. Add the mushrooms and cook until they start to brown and release moisture.
  3. Add Garlic and Butter: Reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and butter, stirring until the mushrooms are coated and the garlic is fragrant.

Final Touch:

  1. Sear Steaks: Increase the heat on the Control Freak to high. Sear each side of the steaks for about 1 minute each, or until they develop a rich brown crust.
